November 2016 newsletter We experienced a couple of impressive natural events this month. A storm passed through very quickly and left us with a double rainbow! The other natural event celebrated was the super moon. Thousands of people gathered on the beach and along the water front to watch the moon rise over the sea. News for July 2016. We finally got some wintery weather towards the end of June. We welcomed the change in seasons, bringing out the jackets and shoes from storage and turning on the heating! June 2016 Newsletter What an autumn we have had! Unbelievably warm and only the last few nights have been cool. The national short course and long course Outriggers Regatta was held in Mooloolaba with over 50 boats out on the water competing; a truly magnificent sight as they paddled their way past Northwind. May 2016 Newsletter May 2016 newsletter. Mooloolaba Beach was the scene of sprints and flags events for the Australian National Surf Life Saving Championships in April. The beach in front of the Surf Club was sectioned off and groomed. A large spectator stand was erected. Maroochydore and Alex beaches hosted other events over the ten days of competition. We were impressed with the organisation involved and congratulate the three surf clubs which hosted the event, the thousands of competitors, administrators and officials who took part. March 2016 Newsletter The March 2016 newsletter marks the arrival of Autumn. It’s hard to believe that we’re into another autumn already! Welcome to our November Newsletter 2015. We  enjoyed the spectacle of a couple of early storms in the latter part of October. Some of our guests really enjoy the splendour of a good lightning show over the sea! We managed to get an hour to visit the Buderim Garden Festival.
