November 2016 newsletter We experienced a couple of impressive natural events this month. A storm passed through very quickly and left us with a double rainbow! The other natural event celebrated was the super moon. Thousands of people gathered on the beach and along the water front to watch the moon rise over the sea. News for July 2016. We finally got some wintery weather towards the end of June. We welcomed the change in seasons, bringing out the jackets and shoes from storage and turning on the heating! We have been enjoying early evening walks which give a new perspective to familiar sights. We’ve also had some spectacular sunsets. February 2016 Newsletter What an amazing January!: just perfect weather for Mooloolaba’s holiday makers. A visit from the cruise ship “Azamara Quest” gave our guests an opportunity to watch the comings and goings of tenders while it was moored off-shore in front of our building. We have discovered CK Coffee Bar and Wholefoods, on Brisbane Road, just opposite the carpark. Set Sail Cruises

Dolphins in the bay and marina

“Is it possible to see too many dolphins and not get excited about it?” The answer is definitely “No”. For the past month we have seen dolphins every afternoon been for a walk along the beach down to the end of the Spit. We are continually delighted when we see them swimming and diving in the waters of the bay just metres from the shore, in the river mouth or in the marina area.
