The other natural event celebrated was the super moon. Thousands of people gathered on the beach and along the water front to watch the moon rise over the sea. There was a fabulous atmosphere as everyone enjoyed the perfect weather for the event. Our guests had the perfect position for viewing the moon rise…from their balconeys. May 2016 Newsletter

May 2016 Newsletter May 2016 newsletter. Mooloolaba Beach was the scene of sprints and flags events for the Australian National Surf Life Saving Championships in April. The beach in front of the Surf Club was sectioned off and groomed. A large spectator stand was erected. Maroochydore and Alex beaches hosted other events over the ten days of competition. We were impressed with the organisation involved and congratulate the three surf clubs which hosted the event, the thousands of competitors, administrators and officials who took part. November Newsletter 2015

Some of our guests really enjoy the splendour of a good lightning show over the sea! We managed to get an hour to visit the Buderim Garden Festival. It was fabulous – the flowers and plants entered for competition was wide ranging. There were also some very knowledgeable people selling plants. We were delighted to see the garden photo competition entries and art inspired by gardens. We have made a note for 2016 already The Sunshine Coast Sky...
