November Newsletter 2015

Welcome to our November Newsletter 2015. We  enjoyed the spectacle of a couple of early storms in the latter part of October. Some of our guests really enjoy the splendour of a good lightning show over the sea! We managed to get an hour to visit the Buderim Garden Festival. It was fabulous – the flowers and plants entered for competition was wide ranging. There were also some very knowledgeable people selling plants. We were delighted to see the garden photo competition entries and art inspired by gardens. We have made a note for 2016 already The Sunshine Coast Sky...

Sunshine Coast Car Rentals is independently owned and operated by Alexandra Headland locals – Dave & Michelle Schwab.  I had a quick chat with them recently.   Here’s my interview with them…   Who are your clients exactly? Our clients come to Mooloolaba for a relaxing holiday and are happy to take each day at their own pace.   They have a sense of adventure and like to explore and visit new places.   The new visitors to the coast are keen to tick off the main tourist attractions off their list – but then so are our annual visitors.  Our clients have...

October newsletter

October newsletter 2014 September has been  very busy here at Northwind. A shelter has been built over the BBQ and outdoor tables and is proving a hit with holiday makers. No more dealing with pesky umbrellas!  We also had the last of the old archway removed from the main entry and a new sign put in place at the front. The sign has caused some discussion as it is markedly different from other signage around town. Manager Andrew had a wonderful experience when he went out with the Sunreef team to swim with the whales. The group of whales they...

September Newsletter

Northwind Apartments September Newsletter 2014. Spring is here! We had such  a busy August with the exterior of Northwind being painted and the sail structures over the windows being removed. The abseilers had a big job removing the sails, repairing render and then painting, while the two ‘earth-bound’ painters dealt to the balconies and block walls around the perimeter. The building really looks very smart and revitalized. We have kept the same colours, so our familiar white, grey and purple still stand out as you go along Mooloolaba Esplanade. Mooloolaba has some unique dining experiences to offer visitors. One of...
